Monte Librić - Children's book festival
Monte Librić began in 2008 as part of the Istria Book Fair, later becoming a festival dedicated to children's literature. Since 2012 it has moved to the Circle of the Community of Italians in Pula, combining the cultural peculiarities of Pula and Istria. The festival has annual themes and offers a variety of activities, such as flashmobs, illustrations, music and theater. Suspended during the pandemic, it moved temporarily to Petar Krešimir IV Park and was later renamed as Zoo Librić Park. It is now a European-recognized festival with a significant social impact.
