Museum Night in Istria

For 20 years, the Croatian Museum Association, in partnership with Croatian museums and various heritage, scientific, and educational institutions, has been hosting this event to celebrate museums as vibrant hubs of exploration, innovation, creativity, and meaningful public engagement.

Since its debut in 2005, the event has grown to include over 250 hosts across Croatia. With a new thematic focus each year, this must-attend cultural celebration is traditionally held on the last Friday of January.

During Museum Night, visitors can immerse themselves in a range of special programs, including captivating concerts, live performances, exhibition openings, specially curated tours, and complimentary giveaways or themed sales of museum publications, souvenirs, and more.
