International Prosciutto Fair 2024

From ancient times to today, in the gastronomic offer of Istria, homemade Istrian prosciutto is the product of the highest value and pride. Prosciutto is perceived and recognized as supreme beauty, Istrians call it vijulin, which means violin. He deserves that royal status with his taste, smell, color, exact softness, i.e. freshness. Istrian prosciutto owes its prestigious place among gourmets to strict adherence to traditional rules. In his honor, the Municipality of Tinjan traditionally organizes the ISAP International Prosciutto Fair.

The rich two-day program includes numerous sports, cultural, traditional and gastronomic events. During both days, several interesting exhibitions will be open in Tinjan, through which this town shows parts of its rich historical, cultural and folklore heritage.
