Park Plaza Arena - first gluten free hotel in Istria
Park Plaza Arena, a hotel of Arena Hospitality Group, becomes the first hotel in Istria with the valuable gluten free certificate. Hereby the a'la carte restaurant of the hotel becomes the only restaurant on the adriatic coastline with gluten free offer.
Hotel Park Plaza Arena Pula is the first hotel in Istria, the most touristic region in Croatia, that is the proud owner of the „BOSK gluten free standard”, as well as the only hotel on the Adriatic coastline with an a’la carte restaurant with a full gluten free offer.
Combining today’s most up-to-date trends in hospitality and gastronomy, as well as the importance of living a healthy lifestyle, and led by the research that confirms that gluten is one of the most common allergen in food, Arena Hospitality Group has, in cooperation with the BOSK company from Rijeka, chosen the hotel Park Plaza Arena and fully implemented the standardisation of the complete process of preparation and serving of gluten free food.
BOSK gluten free standard is intended for hoteliers and caterers and provides practical knowledge about the preparation of the food and the serving of gluten free dishes and it is based on scientifically proven and globally accepted food safety protocols, based on HACCP principles, good manufacturing practise (GMP) and good hygienic practise (GHP).
Hotel Park Plaza Arena has shown last year that it embraces innovation, when they introduced the unique „digital key” service, where you can via smartphone, thanks to a specially created application, open electronic locks in hotel rooms and apartments. This amenity provided the hotel with a competitive edge, making it the first in Croatia and one of the few in Europe with such a free service for guests.
Since May 2017 hotel guests have also an electric charging station for cars at their disposal, and now, continuing with implementation of innovations, hotel Park Plaza Arena is the proud owner of this praise worthy certificate.
A proof that everything is acknowledged by hotel guests is the just received prestigious TripAdvisor award - Certificate of Excellence, that the hotel received after the already received acknowledgment of Travelers' Choice 2017 from the same tourist portal which is based only on reviews of guests which stayed at the hotel.
